It started out as a lovely morning. Laurie got up early and made Bran muffins. Yuuuuumyyy.
We sat out on the deck, staring at the lake enjoying our coffee, muffins and the day. Eventually, though, the mosquitos drove us inside. That was a bummer for two reason, one is the obvious that no one likes to be bit or to have their relaxation curtailed and the other is the Chuck paid to have the place sprayed which was supposed to last for at least 3 months.
Since we had been driven inside we decided to pack up for the trip back. Chuck's brother's son is having a graduation party today and they should be able to get back for at least part of it.
Rob is getting sick. At first we thought it was allergies which have been bothering both of us since South Dakota, but he has a headache and a sore throat so now we believe it to be a cold. I sure hope I don't get it.
We hit the road for our three hour drive home. It was quite pleasant. We did stop once at a bike shop in the little town of Crosby. Their Mountain bike trails are rated #1 in the state of Minnesota and #11 in the nation. Rob naturally got a map. Then we continued on home.
Once we got home we just chilled. Rob rested and we watched the US Open.
We went to bed fairly early.
