Did I tell you that it seems to get quite a bit of rain here? It is also somewhat humid. It is beautiful, especially all the lakes, but they are what they call "tea stained" The water has a brownish tint to it. Chuck says it is really Bog stained. Anyway, it is pretty
We relaxed for a bit drinking our coffee and then decided to pack up, pull in and hook up.
We hit the road and headed up the road to Hinkley. It was about a 2 hour drive. We got there around 1:00.
We checked in and they gave us directions to our camp site. We are in the woods and we are the only RV there.
This is another buy-in resort and there are a lot of full timers with buildout. There are mostly mobile homes rather than built in RVs. It is a huge place with club house, pool, miniature golf, 9 hole exec. golf course and some other amenities.
We set everything up and then put up the antenna hoping to be able to get the Golf for the final round of the US Open, but no luck. We thought that maybe the golf course would have it on, but the shop was closed. It is just drop the money in a slot sort of place. We walked back and decided to find out where the club house is and the grill, perhaps they would have the game on, but again, we were out of luck.
We hooked my computer up to the TV hoping to watch it via streaming and were able to watch a couple holes but then lost the signal.
I called Mom to find out what her password for her u-verse account was but she couldn't remember it. It's on here iPad, but her charger cable is bad and her pad is dead. She also can't remember her wifi password. She has a new nook, but can't hook it up because she can't remember her pass word. Again, it is all on her dead iPad.
I hung up with her and ordered her a new charger and cable for her iPad which she will receive on Wed. But, in the mean time, that didn't help any of us.
Rob was able to pick up the last hole or two on his iPad, so he watched that. We really can't get much of any TV signal here. Luckily I had picked up a Kevin Costner triple pack movie. It has Dances With Wolves, Bull Durham, and No Way Out. So, we watched Dances With Wolves since a lot of it was filmed in the areas of South Dakota where we had just been.
It was a long movie and we went to bed afterward.
