When I got up this morning it was still aching. I have no idea why. Anyway, Rob wanted to go out for another run but I didn't want to. So, he went and I stayed home and did a workout on the big ball. Oddly enough, my knee stopped hurting.
We showered and packed our clothes and then food items, beer and margarita and soon Chuck and Laurie with Annie and Rosie arrived to pick us up.
We drove about three hours north through several small towns and a whole lot of farm land. We saw very little livestock.
We stopped in the little town of Outing and had lunch at the Pickled Loon Saloon.
It was a nice little place and we sat outside on a patio along Crooked Lake.
Then we walked over to a meat market and bought some food stuff for the next couple days.
We continued on for a little while longer down several dirt roads and came out at an awesome cabin with a huge lawn and a dock right on Little Thunder Lake. It is awesome. so very peaceful.
We put things away and then went out on the deck with adult beverages and threw the ball for Annie and listened to Chuck mow the entire yard. It was wonderful. After Chuck finished he and Rob went out on the lake on the pontoon boat. Laurie and I went in and watched Naked and Afraid. It is pretty interesting. We still don't understand why they have to be naked, but it is a survival show.
Chuck and Rob came back and they joined us watching several episodes. It s cable TV and they just keep going one right into another.
Finally at about 11 pm we went to bed. We were pretty darn tired.
