Thursday, 23 November; Fresno

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!
Rob and I tackled Mom's garage this morning.  We filled up two garbage bins and two recycle bins.  We got rid of stuff she no longer uses or needs.  We again, rearranged things so that it would be easier for her to get to and so things would be out of the way so they weren't tripping hazards.  Mom is 89 years old and walks with a walker.  She has balance issues and visual problems.  Other than that, sh is in really good health.
Mom has decided that she no longer wants to live alone.  She has difficulty reading her mail and trouble seeing well enough to pay her bills. She is thinking she would like to get a management company to rent out her house.  It is all paid for and could be an investment income for her.  Rob and Art and I could get it fixed up and rentable.
Anyway, the Garage looks 100% better.
We showered and got dressed and went to "The Manhattan" where we met Barbara and Art for Thanksgiving Dinner.  It was lovely.  What an easy way to enjoy the holiday.  Good food, no stress, no clean up and no hurry.  It was lovely.  Both Barbara and Art enjoyed Rob's Chuck Yeager story and we enjoyed hearing about Art's travels to Switzerland and then to Florida.  It was really a lovely time
