The weather is lousy this morning. Rainy and windy. My bike is still in the back of the truck which is not great. Also, it is super windy and the cover on Rob's bikes, on the back of the rig blew off.
Today is a perfect day to go through all my clothes and get rid of stuff. I also did the laundry in between bouts of rain.
I vacuumed and cleaned the rig as well.
Finally, it was time to go pick up Rob from the airport. His flight is supposed to get in at 9:10, but it might be delayed.
As I was driving to the Boston Airport in the dark and in the rain, my "Engine Oil Level Low" light came on. I thought shoot. When they serviced my car last week, on the 17th, they changed my oil and filter and everything. I remembered him saying they were going to change my "synthetic" oil. What is synthetic oil and where am I supposed to get it. It's night time, it's raining, and I am 19 miles from the Airport. I decided to go ahead and continue on to the airport and pick up Rob and then go directly to a gas station and have him check the oil level. I am lousy at it. Surely they would have put the oil in and filled it up.
So, that's what I did. I waited for him in the cell phone lot, then picked him up and told him about my light, which by the way, when I turned my car back on after waiting for him the light was not on. But, while we drove on sure enough, it came on with a ding tone.
We drove straight to a gas station and he check the oil and everything was fine.
So, we drove on home. Chilled for a little bit and went to bed.
