Thursday, 9 November; Fort Belvoir

We cleaned really well this morning, knowing that we were going to have company.  Wow, we went out to take Bella out for a walk after cleaning and we hardly recognized the place when we got back.
Rob's friends from Berkeley ROTC live in the area and came by to visit.  The 4 of them, Mike, Rohini, (now husband and wife with 4 children), Rob and Tony Belli went all the through ROTC together and got their commissions.  Rob, Tony and Mike, as Air Force Rotc Cadidiots (I mean cadets) went through the Army's Jump school together.  They got an extra ration of sh-- for being Air Force.
Mike and Rohini remained on active duty as Air Force Careers.  They are both retired now.  They have two sons in college now and two daughters in middle school.
Rob hadn't seen them for many years and I had never met them, but when they came over and spent the afternoon together it was like we knew each other for ever and for Rob it was like they never had years apart.  It was really nice.

Even Bella liked them a whole lot.  They are both wonder full people and we are now connected on face book so will be able to stay in better touch.
After they left we all went out for our daily migration walk and the Rob went off to the gym and Bella and I chilled at home.
It was a wonderful and very relaxing day.
