It is still overcast and dreary. It isn't raining at the moment but it looks like it well.
Rob got up early and had to leave for some training. I enjoyed my coffee for a bit and waited around for 9 am. Then I headed off for the PX. I have put on a few pounds and was looking for some clothes that might be a little more flattering.
They have some cute stuff at the PX, but nothing that looked especially great on me.
Rob called and was finished with his training, but I told him I had just started shopping so he decided to go and hit some golf balls.
I headed off to the mall. They have Macy's, Penny's and the Nordstrom Rack. Plus some other shops. I was there for what seemed forever. Walking around until my feet, knees and back were killing me. I tried on a gazillion outfits and finally left in frustration.
I just need to lose weight.
It was pouring rain and the gloomy weather was matching my mood.
I went back home and snuggled with Bella.
Rob was home and had been watching the Golf on TV when a movie came on. It was about Francis Ouimet. He was a kid who lived across from a golf course and worked as a caddie and in the golf shop. He played every chance he go and eventually got good enough to be invited to the US Open which was being played on his course. He played and his Caddie was a kid who was barely taller than Francis's bag. People laughed at both of them, but he went on to win the Tournament. It was a good movie.
After that we got ready and headed in to Georgetown to meet up with Robert Tufts who is Rob's Cousin. He is a nice man. He lives in DC and works for Verizon. He has a bunch of big government contracts.
We had a really nice visit and a very good meal. It was still pouring all the way home. We got home around 10 pm so we just went to bed.
