Tuesday, 14 November; Golf in Kilmarnock, VA

I thought we were going to go and play golf early this morning so I go up right away and jumped into the shower.  As it turned out we weren't going to play until 1 pm and were not going to meet Darla and Turner until 12:30. But the good thing was that I was up, showered, dressed, and ready to go by 8 am.
We visited in the kitchen all morning.  Rob and Becky were still working on his family tree.  He is really figuring out the program and was now able to scan pictures of the individual family members into the program.  It is looking really good.
It is sunny this morning and a little bit warmer. That is certainly going to make playing golf better.  We still dressed warmly.  We even dressed Bella in a sweater and grabbed her bed and her blanket.
We headed out to Indian Creek Golf and Yacht Club.  Uncle Turner was already there hitting some balls.  They live on the 2nd hole, right off the Tee box.  Darla came walking us as we were getting ready to go out.  She was all bundled up.

Shortly after we started the sun went back behind the clouds and it started to get cold.  I played pretty decently on the front 9, I even tied Rob.  But, as the game went on the day got colder and colder.  I was starting to absolutely freeze.  My feet were damp and really cold.  It started feeling like maybe it was going to start snowing.  It wasn't quite cold enough, but it sure felt like it.
Darla went home after the front 9.  She said she wanted to go and feed their cat because if shed didn't before we got there the cat would run and hide and wouldn't be seen for the rest of the night.  She also wanted to get dinner started since we were going over there for dinner after golf.
When we got there their kitty was in its bed.  It was very curious about Bella.  We kept her out of the room, but the cat was curious.  It came within a couple feet of Bella but then slinked away into the darkness and we didn't see it anymore for the rest of the night.
We had a nice evening.  They shared ski and biking stories and the dinner was quite yummy. It was really nice getting to see them again and spend some time with them.
We left about 8:30.  I was really tired.  I visited for a short while with Becky and then went to bed.  Rob stayed up for a bit longer visiting.
